Car logbook servicing
We follow the manufacturer's schedule for your make and model, petrol or diesel. Your logbook gets stamped after each service.

What we do
Any make, petrol or diesel, and the schedule for each one is different. A logbook service means we follow the manufacturer's schedule for your vehicle, not a fixed list of jobs. Adam or Callum does the work, and the logbook is stamped once the service is finished.
What to bring
Bring the logbook when you drop the car off. If the dashboard is showing a service reminder, or you have a dealer reminder, bring that as well. We record the kilometres and note the work in the logbook. If you cannot find the logbook, mention it when you ring.
Warranty
A new car warranty in Australia is not automatically voided by using an independent workshop. The ACCC position is that logbook servicing can be done by an independent workshop as long as it follows the manufacturer's schedule. We follow that schedule and use parts suited to the job. We stamp the logbook so the service history stays intact.
How quotes work
Ring us for a quote before you book. We give a price over the phone for the scheduled work. If we find extra work during the service, we ring you before doing it. You will not come back to a bill for work you did not approve.
When to book
Book when the logbook says the service is due. If you are not sure, ring us and read out the odometer reading. We can check the interval and tell you what is actually due. If you tow, do short trips or drive in dusty conditions, we can talk through whether the car needs servicing sooner than the longest schedule.
Transport and after the job
If you need transport while the car is with us, ask about a loan vehicle when you book. It is not always free, so ask when you book. After the service we tell you what was done and answer questions. If a follow up repair is likely, we tell you what to watch and what it might involve.
Questions people ask
Will a logbook service at ADM Motors void my new car warranty?
No. The ACCC position is that an independent workshop can service a new car according to the manufacturer's schedule without voiding the warranty. We stamp the logbook after the service.
Do I need to bring my logbook?
Yes. Bring the logbook so we can record the work and stamp it. If you have a service due reminder, bring that as well.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
Yes. Ring us with the make, model, engine and odometer reading and we will quote the scheduled work. If extra work is found, we ring before doing it.
Tell us what the logbook says and we will quote the service over the phone (03) 9530 8144.
