General servicing and repairs

What we do

Petrol or diesel, new or old, the process is the same. Adam or Callum does the work. General servicing is for cars that do not need a logbook stamp, or for repairs that fall between logbook services.

What to bring

Bring the car with a note of what you can hear, feel or see. That can be a light on the dash, a noise over bumps or a leak on the driveway. The more specific you are, the quicker we can start checking.

Quotes and extra work

Ring us for a quote before the work starts. We give a price over the phone for the work we know about. If the job turns up more, we ring you before doing it. You will not come back to a bill for work you did not approve.

When to book

If the car is using coolant or oil, making a knock, pulling to one side or losing power, book it in. Waiting usually makes the repair bigger. We will tell you whether it needs looking at straight away or can wait.

Other work

We also handle brakes, suspension, batteries, tyres, roadworthy certificates and pre-purchase inspections. We can group work so you do not have to come back twice.

After the job

After the job we explain what was done and answer questions. If we see something that is likely to need attention in the next few months, we note it and give you a straight answer on timing.
