What we do

We test and replace batteries and sort out electrical faults. That includes charging problems, warning lights and battery drains.

When to come in

If the car is slow to crank, the battery light stays on, or the car goes flat overnight, bring it in. We can test the battery and the charging system before you start replacing parts blindly. A lot of electrical faults are not the battery itself.

Finding the cause

We look for the cause, not just the flat battery. The charging system, the wiring and the accessories on the car all matter. A new battery will fix a tired battery, but it will not fix a drain that flattens it again.

Quotes and testing

Ring us and describe what the car is doing. If the car needs testing at the workshop, we will tell you what to expect before you drop it off. If we find extra work during the job, we ring you before doing it.

Battery checks for roadworthy

Batteries are also part of a roadworthy inspection. If you are selling or transferring rego, we can check the battery and charging system while the car is in for the roadworthy.

Dual battery systems

If you have a 4WD with a dual battery system, we can check the wiring, the solenoid and the auxiliary battery. Adam has worked with Ark Power Packs and understands the way these systems load up on a trip.
